Cooperative Style is a rock band from Kazan, Russia. This is the world’s first group to play a series of live concerts using only Apple iPads and iPhones as musical instruments.
They download applications for drums, keyboards and guitars and play on stage, though a downloaded mixing desk. Cooperative Style play covers by rock legends like Nirvana, however their audiences really like their original performances.
The iPhone guitarist Ruslan Halkov says that it is a lot harder to play a virtual guitar that it is a real one, not to mention rock and roll poses don’t look cool at all. Still the public seems to like what they do.
